Notable pupil: John Dempsey (CFC)

Under notable pupils section there is no mention of John Dempsey who played center back for many years for Chelsea and won a Cup winners medal with them. He was a year below me and scored prolifically for the school teams as a center forward. I once played against him at King Edwards Park in Willesden.

By the way your web page is great.  Kudos for doing this.
Alec McKay (22 May 2019)

As well as playing in a European final, John Dempsey, an old teammate of mine for Iverson F.C. scored a goal in that European final which Chelsea won 2-1.

I saw Alec McKay note about an ex pupil John Dempsey been left out of pupils who went to Kynaston school.

I am the John Dempsey and yes I played for Fulham Chelsea and also I played for Eire as well as an international.

I went to Kynaston from 1957-1961 and really enjoyed going to such a good school.Maybe you can add my name to people that achieved something which would be nice.

I played with John in the house team ( Fleming) he was brilliant we were mediocre, no change that to useless compared to him, he was also a very good cricket player, many years after leaving school I paid to watch John when he was playing for Chelsea.
I recently posted a pic of our class 2D 1958 John is back row.
