Kynaston School Sir's Foot Day, Epping Forest (1968). A Dick Curtis themed activity involving a plaster cast of Mr. Boorman's foot. Fleming House won the competition and got to decide who's foot would be used to cast the trophy. Pupils were divided into groups of 4 or 5 with a sixth former as leader. The activity was never repeated.

Kynaston School Baltic Cruise (May 1969). "My first impression of Russia was Armed guards in long grey trenchcoats at the bottom of the stairs at Leningrad docks. Also, some enterprising lads sold Wrigleys chewing gum, etc. from the ship's shop - and even their Levis, to the Russian lads as they'd never seen these before and were very valuable" Rob Sherwin

"I remember getting into bed the first night, It had a continental Quilt on the bed, I had never seen one before and promptly got inside the cover like a sleeping bag, having been a boy scout it seemed the right thing to do :-)" Brian Ahern
