Hallo.

Thanks for sending me an email reminding me about this site. I was very pleased to see there is now a page for Quintin School! Curous to see old Skully after all these years – his face is so familiar; what a character he was!

Let’s have more material if anyone’s got any? In particular I would love to see any photos of the various school plays, specially ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ and others around that time I was involved with. I did have one photo of the musicians from that production, but I seem to have mislaid it – if I find it I’ll send it in.

    Message for Lawrence Hughes.
Hi Lawrence, I’ve just come across your message of 27th May last year enquiring about photos from the plays of those years. Have you seen Midsummer Night’s Dream – Pages 10 & 11 in the Quinitian 1969? Look in the “Quintin School” tab in the top right of this webpage.

I was at Kynaston in the 60s and I remember we put on a play by Bertolt Brecht: The Caucasian Chalk Circle. I was in the chorus and I’ve got an old photo of the 3 chorus members somewhere.

John McLaren (Mac). My twin brother Peter was also at Kynaston.
